Hi everybody, I hope this forum is the right place to ask this question.

I am going to New York for a 7-week trip this Tuesday, and I was wondering if it will be easy to find Internet cafes in Manhattan, how much do they cost and whether I'll be able to send attachments in those places, since I have some unfinished work to send. I haven't been to an Internet cafe in years.

I would appreciate any help from the New Yorkers out there.
Thanks.

Sorry, have no idea what you are talkin' about.
But here are some restaurant recomendations:
Sparks Steak House (it's a peice of history, Big Paul Castellano was shot outside here by John Gotti)
Angelo's of Mulberry Street
Luger (Sp?) Steak House
Any place in Chinatown
Junior's in Brooklyn.
If you don't know where these are, ask a New Yorker, I haven't been to the City in almost a year,
But if you go into North Jersey, I can help ya out there, m8.

An internet cafe is where they have a bunch of computers with internet access, etc. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/rolleyes.gif

Wow, Capo. That's pretty bad. I live in Georgia, and most of the yokels here know what an internet cafe is. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wacko.gif

You can get internet connections in many of the hotels and motels in the New York area. I doubt you will find anywhere on earth where its easier to connect to the internet.

Thanks Gawain of Orkeny. I thought so, too, but just wanted to check. I guess I'm just getting a bit nervous about going to a huge city where I've never been before. I've never been across the Atlantic, for that matter.

@Capo, sorry, didn't mean to deceive you there. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

NP, m8.
Hey, where in NY are you staying (my guess is somewhere in the finacial district of manhattan, what's it called again?) or in Chelsea (still part of the city).

I'm staying at a YMCA on Lexington Avenue between 91st and 92nd streets in Manhattan. Man, I'm looking forward to seeing so much stuff in New York: museums, sightseeing sites, a baseball game It's a shame the ice hockey season is over, I would've killed to see an NHL game.
