I thought the Taishos of the sword dojo would be happy with their warrior monk portraits, but no...

I suppose you are right, should have put more thought into it... I was more concerned with getting rid of the cool newbie labels as soon as possible. If you send me a pic you want i can put it up.

That also goes for all you lowly ronin and ashigaru, if you can find some nice portraits that would suit certain ranks upload them here and I will take a look.

ive noticed some people who think ronin shouldn't be "lower" than ashigaru. but i think it's right.
in japan, it's always preferable to be employed by a House, or Lord, over not. So it makes sense that a ronin (whatever your opinions on idealistic combat skills) who has no master would be "below" a peasant with a steady job and opportunity for promotion.
