View Full Version : Fine-tuning the kill and movement mods

I'm currently using the .5 kill speed mod and the terrain-based movement speed reduction mod.

I'm comfortable with the kill speeds of cavalry, but I think the infantry kill speed should be boosted a little bit.

I also want to increase the infantry movement speed a bit and the cavalry movement speed a bit more. This is because cavalry and infantry seem to be moving at nearly the same speed, even when running, and that's just not right.

Can anyone explain to me how to change these values. The trickiest one may be changing the relative movement speeds of different units, or at least different unit types (cav vs. inf).

Thanks.

No one has yet found how to edit unit speeds individually yet. They maybe hardcoded.

Is there a way to adjust them by class, i.e. light cav, heavy cav, etc.?

No, not as far as I know. I may not have the game yet but from the way the mod was designed it looks like they are actually set as modifiers for each terrain.

Does the speed affect the initial charging killing rate? Because I believe that speed needs slowing down but not the killing rates.
