Unit Availability

Can someone tell me if the famous shield bearers unit in the macedon army is available in the game? would be great if so. ~:cheers:

Well being a Hoplite required you to have a Hoplon shield ... so every boy carried a big shield.
Now the Macedon unit must be Phalangites of King Philipos and yes they are in

~:) Tnx, yes I've seen them in build_prod.txt, but not in the game yet. I've only played 79yrs so far, and probably wrong era... this is an excellent mod, so glad I tried it out, tnx everyone!
