This 1.1 patch addresses many issues with multiplayer dealing with game stability, performance and some synch issues.

· Fixed an issue with the GameSpy multiplayer lobby population when it hits its maximum.

· Elephant units in the game have been tweaked to make them less overpowering.

are those the only fixes? or just examples of?

oh and thanks for the info :O

It's really nice to see a patch released this quickly that addresses several major show stoppers in RTW multiplayer. At least people should be ablt to play the game online now.

Wasted time downloading 10mb patch, it does nothing. I still can't play mp.

It helped me :) And it seems it also fixed the chatwindow in multiplayer lobby, maybe not the most important thing but good that it was fixed anyway :)

I will get my colleagues who are interested also get one copy. ~D They may be hard nut to crack during working hours, but during the game I'll make them to fight on my own ground ~;) :duel:

I plyaed several games last night with the patch. Our clan had no connection issues and no sync issues. Our Seleucid player did complain/whine about the elephant changes ;)

The memory leak seems to be minimized at least ... we're still trying to find the sweet spot for performance. We have decent machines (I have a 2.8) and we were getting lag on 3v3 battles once the missile fire started. It was like playing a slideshow at times at 4,000 men.

So the patch is worth downloading? Any more feedback?
