I have begun working on a list of quotes for the loading screens. So far there are about 20 on it. Relivent Quotes from this time period seem to be extremely hard to find. Does anyone want to help with this?

(or more horribly for myself has anyone already done this? :embarassed: )

If men were all good, this advice would not be good, but since men are wicked and do not keep their promises to you, you likewise do not have to keep your promises to them."

Here's my absolute favorite quote from the Medieval period.

"Caedite eos! Novit enim Dominus qui sunt eius!"

"Slay them all! God will know his own!"

-Arnold Amaury at the burning of Beziers, on July 22, 1209, when asked for orders on how his knights were to distinguish his own soldiers from the "heretic" defenders of Beziers.

I say we should translate them all before implementing. I don't want any Latin quotes or the player will feel like he/she is playing RTW all over again.

"He who sheds his blood with me on this day shall be my Brother." -Henry V at the battle of Agincourt
