View Full Version : Loss of command for no reason?
I had a general, 1 star from the romans, and he was attacking a carthaginian city (thapsus sp?) which was being governed by a 1 star carthaginian general... but when I attacked my star disappeared
Is there a vice or virtue that causes the opponent to lose command some how?
Command stars that give bonuses when attacking/defending only show up when attacking/being attacked. It's possible that your general has the 'Confident in Attack' virtue, which gives him +1 to Command when attacking, and he has no other source of Command.
but if he has a confident in attack which gives him that one star... which is it that when he attacked it disappeared?
and he didnt have that confident in attack... he had confident commander I checked... any other reasons or maybe just a bug

maybe he had a poor attacker or good defender virtue, and thats why he lost his star on attack?
the only thing he had that effected combat was the confident attacker
everything else was influence and the scrolls
i know there's a bug to do with exp. points being "forgotten" in battle, and re-appearing on the campaign map...possibly this is a similar bug in the computer tracking attributes?
could be
Im hoping the patch takes care of everything
If it is, it's hopefully just a display error, like with the disappearing chevrons of experience on units.

You probably noticed the star at the moment he was attacking. As he has the confident attacker virtue, he will gain a star whenever he is attacking. However when he isn't, he won't show the star.
