Playing is the macadons i had a battle what was a must win, attacked by 3 full stacks the senate, bruiti, and juli all experienced vets, when it came to the battle i placed all my troops inc my 1 unit of onagers on top of a hill overlooking a farmhouse with 4 wheatfields.
Making the enemy walk right through the nice dry corn i placed the onagers on fire and waited for the roman barbecue. The whole three stacks walked right threw the corn, my onagers fired first ball hit dead centre.
That could of been one of the nice touches ca mentioned, ahh well ill have to equip the archers with tipped explosives. Murdered by the way not a single macadonion lived, middle of summer italy fine barbecue weather.
