112) When you get into a verbal fight with someone, you think "Hmm, too bad. It would take at least three turns for my diplomat to get here. Neither is my legion in the vicinity of here. I'll fight him alone, with my bodyguard. Oh wait, I don't have any".

113) When you get to know that your faction leader has died, you are grieved over his heroic death, weep your eyes out and quit the game.

True story. My faction leader (Gaius Victor) was going with his army to the south-west Greek coast, and died because of his age halfway to the destination. I thought "Ok, there goes my possibility of making the Senate happy" (I had 8 turns left to occupy Dyrrhachium, and at the same time, take back Croton, now occupied by the rebels). My two highest-ranked generals were in the north duking it out with the Gauls, while the third one had to be in Tarentum to restore the public order amongst the non-Roman civilians. My army overseas would fail without the presence of a great general.

Get out now, before it is too late!!! I got a Nintendo Entertainment System(the old 8 bit original was brand new then) for my Seventh birthday. Eighteen years later and I am STILL hooked. I can only imagine it will be worse for you lads. Games now are more addictive and emersive than ever before. What type of gaming systems will be around when you are my age in another 10-15 years?!

Stop now and go ride a bike or draw with crayons or play with G.I Joes (are those even around anymore?) or some other wholesome activity.

**shakes head in self-disgust** I can't believe I'm telling "back when I was a kid" stories. Yep, back when I was a kid, we had to walk ten miles in the snow just to play Duck Hunt at a friend's house. And it was uphill both ways!

#158) You chat with young-uns half your age about the 'good old days' and realize that the 'good old days' sucked and that Rome is the best game since the Legend of Zelda!
