Hi,

this mod i'm making:

Greater Cities,
My first irritation when playing Rome Total War was that "The big city" Rome and the "Other big city" Carthage were very small...! So I decided to make a better and possibly more realistic version of those cities. This includes that Carthage and Rome are bigger(not unbalancing though) and that most capitals are bigger now. It's a "provincial campaign" mod so it doesn't changes a thing about the Imperial Campaign itself......
this version has:

Cities upgraded:
Carthago Nova(spanish capital)
Rome(SPQR Capital)
Carthage(Carthaginian Capital)
Arretium(Jullii Capital)
The Bruttii Capital(forgot the name)
Capua(Scippii Capital)
Alexandria(Egyptian Capital)
Germanic Capital(Forgot the name)
Sparta(Greek Capital)
Macedonian Capital(Forgot the name)
Seleucid Capital(Forgot the name)
Numidian Capital(Forgot the name)
Londinium(British Capital)

And some things I still want to do:
Balance some things;
Some research on Athens and upgrade it;
Possibly some very small rebel provinces.....

You can find the mod on: nim.zerogames.nl/non-webs...er_Cities/

Hi,

This mod makes most of the capitals somewhat bigger to make it a more "homebase"
instead of "another" city that makes massive losses.
I upgraded it in the form of adding stables but too by better roads, farms and
markets, this hopefully deals with your financial conditions too.

It doesn't changes the Imperial Campaign, it's a total new campaign that you can
start by pressing the "Provincial Campaign" button in the "Single-Player" menu.
The Campaign hasn't got any changes from the Imperial Campaign except the bigger
cities.

Sounds like a good idea. I think Rome had around 400.000 people living there in 120 AD or something like that. In RTW the largets citys has like 34.000 people in them ;) Having more people would be more realistic.
