how to play a faction

hi cane sommeone tell me please
is it possible to play a other faction like the greeks or the egyptians in campain or cane you only play the 3 roman factions ~:confused: ~:confused: ~:confused:

yeah, seems like a newbie post for a guy whose been here since october, but if you really dont know then
1. play the campaign to completion & unlock other factions
2. go to rome total war/data/world/maps/campaign/imperial campaign/descr_strat, and edit any faction you like
3. download rome total realism 4.0 mod ~:)

The file has a list of faction under playable and a list of factions under non-playable, I assume switching lists would do the trick.

hi doc bean question do you have to play the campain complete to unlock the factions or cane you unlock them without playing the campain or somme one else but still i like to thank you all for your patients and anwsers :bow:

There is an easier way than those: All Civs mod (http://www.twcenter.net/downloads/db/?mod=75)

It will let you play all civs, including the unplayable ones, even SPQR, and it works perfect.
