Egpytian Adoption

Folks,

I'm currently playing SP VH/VH as Egypt and something I've noticed that seems to be different is the lack of adoption with this faction. I've fought several battles with the same captain and won many heroic victories but never have I been given the option to adopt this captain into my family.

I was just wondering if it was not possible for the egypt faction to do this or if I have just been unlucky ?

Anyone successfully get an option to adopt a captin into the family ?

I didn't adopt a captain yet, but I for sure had several regular adoption requests.

I think adoptions happen when you're running low on family members - ie, if you've got lots of cities but only a few family members, you tend to adopt to give your family tree a boost. Has your Egyptian family ever run short of numbers? If it hasn't, that might explain why they haven't done much adopting. Or maybe social services have been round and don't think they're up to it. All that burying servants with the pharoah and stuff. No place to bring up a baby. Or, indeed, a 34 year old war veteran.
