TOURNEY UPDATE

Ok,

We have been recieving a great response everyone.

So far, we have about 65+ entrants. (a few are suspicious) But, please, no fake or crud names. Only names which are registered on STW will be allowed.
This is especially important since we will be making brackets of 5 players/group.

ALSO, b/c of the high number of entrants, we might close of registration early.... Thus, if you wish to play, PLEASE register sooner than later. I hope to see a lot of you there! Also, we probably will have room for a couplpe of fillers come the day of the tourney, so if you don't manage to sign up in time, show up any ways.

Well, I hope everyone plans to have fun, as that is one of the main goals of the tourney!

We have 80 entrants so far!!!!!!
And it's only been up for a week..

As I said earlier, we may close registration, so get them in sooner than later guys.
Also, if there is someone who doesn't want to play, but will be around on the day of the tourney... Actually, days now...
we might need your help.

Clarification:
As hosts, we will arrange matches and settle disputes (like previous tourney's) but we will not be in every match, judging each game. If there is a dispute, we will then intercede and deal with it as best we can.

Well, we are at around 90 as of earlier today... I didn't know there were that many active, enthusiastic players.

Anyways, just in case someone is reading this for an update.

Kag is busy working on the Vs table's and will have that finished by the end of the week (maybe sooner--he is a very busy, hard working person).

The point being, if you miss registration, but still want to play, SHOW UP on the day of the tourney before it starts. With around 100 players expected, there will be a few no shows and if you are there, you might be able to fill in.

Also, I do not believe that we will be able to make a separate bracket for the Australians. I have not heard from any but Phoenix here and as far as I know, there haven't been many who signed up for the tourney. Sorry Phoenix (you still have a week though to round up some Aussies if you can)...

Oh, yes... Since there are so many entrants, we aren't sure if we will be sending out individual e-mails. Instead, we may just post the groupings on the website.

Also, I will be keeping a very UNOFFICIAL tally of how the various clans do in the tourney...: ) b/c I can, and b/c it will spark some friendly rivalries... hehe
