Title says it all:
post your traits and ancillaries with desired effect. Titles , condecorations, and useful characters can be included, as many other things, from objects to land estates.

I will update this first post with the list to keep them all visible and in the same place.

Here are a few to get the ball rolling:

Grande de España (spain, title): This man´s family is one of the few chosen among the chosen. The highest nobility of Spain. Their riches in some occasions surpass the king´s own, and they can wear head dress in the king´s presence.

+2 influence, +1 management, +2 morale.

Vilain (all, social): This man is not of noble origin, and that is known by the people around him.

-2 influence, -1 management, -2 morale.

Duelist (all, trait): This man´s inclination of defending his honour are seen as excessively fierce even by the standards of the most purists.

+1 influence, -1 morale.

Inquisitor (catholics, ancilla): (this one DOES add to unrest): An inquisitor is a man whos mission is to erradicate evil. By any means. He might be a useful man to have, but a dangerous one too.
+ 3 law, + 5 unrest.

Monk (all except muslims, ancilla): A man of God, who spent most of his life in a monastery and now belongs to a court of a powerful man and takes care of the paperwork.

+1 law, +2 influence.

Very good you started this thread.

Some ideas to discuss...

- Religious ancillaries:

Bishop - The clergy can be perceived by masses as spoilt and corrupted, but none can question their influence over those who rule.
+ 1 influence

+ 1 law

Archbishop - A support of that man can be valuable, but risky in these times of religious turmoil.

I think there would have to be a list of 'turncoat' ancillaries for all factions; the muslim factions should probably get 'Slaves' rather than 'Prisoners'.

Will come back with something more later.

Don´t really like the fact that the catholics get +5unrest and the protestants +1.

Besides, they would be among people who share their faith, so the unrest, if any, should be really tiny.

then, the different "turncoats" shouldn´t add up to unrest at all IMHO as they only affect the man they serve and not the rest of the population.

So how about now?(I edited my previous post) Consider that all those unrest points are balanced with law points.

Besides, they would be among people who share their faith, so the unrest, if any, should be really tiny.

Well, the clergy were not loved by the common people as far as I know.

There's a misunderstanding:

Tatar Prisoner (+ 1 influence) idea that I posted before is not a turncoat ancillary as it doesn't add to your command when attacking (in this case) Tatars. What I said is that it would have to be get in a way a 'turncoat' is get - so after a (major) victory with some particular faction. This is a prisoner (or for muslims slave) not a turncoat type ancillary.

Tatar Servant (+ 2 personal security, + 1 unrest) This is not a turncoat either. I only meant it would be get in the same way as turncoat (look above). It's some ancillary that I thought would be nice for Eastern European non-muslim factions. It really sometimes happened that a captured Tatar prisoner became a loyal servant. But if the man he served was of some importance, the presence of an infidel servant would be in simple people's liking who often experienced Tatar raids. Tatars were feared by common people, so that's why + 1 unrest.

Much better.

See, the thing about the clergy, is that they were feared/respected in the same way as an important nobleman was feared/respected. IMHO, to represent their importance spreading their faith, they should subtract from squalor, if possible, or from the "cultural penalty".

Here are a couple of others:

Inquisitor (catholics, ancilla): (this one DOES add to unrest): An inquisitor is a man whos mission is to erradicate evil. By any means. He might be a useful man to have, but a dangerous one too.
+ 3 law, + 5 unrest.

All the titles should be available after constructing some administrative buildings. Most of the titles exclude one another. Royal and Lithuanian titles exclude one another. I think I'll rename this thread to Ancillaries - Traits - Titles, as we will eventually have to change also characters traits, at least some of them. I hope you're fine with it SwordsMaster?

Trait: Fear Of Open Spaces; Unussual malfunction of this man's mind makes it very difficult for him to command an army in the field. - 6 command

This would have to be a trait gained only when comming of age, pretty rare, but real trait.

Claustrophobia : this man fears closed spaces which makes him a very poor defender when besieged: -3 command when besieged.

Yeah, sure rename as you see necessary. ~;)
