On some of the websites many of the clans have a background for their clans; do have a certain role play for your clan; you see 'The Taiko Raiders' have done it; and I was just wondering if you have based the clan somewhere in history of Japan.

Hmmm no it is not realy placed into the history of japan. Our daimyo Asaji has selected the name "Kenchikuka" (japanese for architects) because of his fondness for - architecture http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif

We're amongst the few proud old school clans , and happy to still be around http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif

Not sure i understand what u mean.. but Asaji favors Shimazu.. so i guess we are on the west side of japan , if anywhere at all http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif

have you seen the movie "Heaven and Earth"? It's based on the battles of Takeda Shingen and Kagetora, "the Tiger of Echigo". I would recommend it. Good battle scenes.

Oh yeah, Toshiro Mifune plays Kagetora also.

Mifune, the great actor aside, we all know the victor of the Shingen / Nagao Kagetora (aka Uesugi Kenshin) conflict -- It wasn't Shingen who lost 4th Kawanakajima. In fact, Kenshin only recieved the title Uesugi after Shingen had defeated Uesugi Norimasa who then was forced to give the title to Kenshin.
