This sign up is ONLY for the clan daimyo, executor, and publisher. You can specify up to 3 characters that you wish to reserve, while only one will be granted. The prioirity is given to the executor. The clan daimyo will play Shimazu Takahisa.
The sign up will last 24 hours (or until these positions are filled up http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/tongue.gif) First come, first serve!

I will sign up as the "backup" publisher. This means if anybody else is interested in publisher, he will get it http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/tongue.gif But if nobody else wants the job then I will become the publisher.

About the daimyo pos, personally I think we can share the workload between Shuko and Narf. Narf will be the leader of the clan, both in military and economy, and Shuko will be specialized in chairing meetings and imposing rules http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif Shuko can also fight battles for those who do not respond in 24 hours. How do you (NARF, Shuko and everybody) think?
Since all main poz except the publisher are filled up (still need more helps!), the public sign up for all other generals will start at 0:00 AM July 26, on time. (9 hours from now) http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/biggrin.gif There will be one reserve for each of those volunteered to help out as the executor, clan daimyo, and publisher. (If there is no conflict, they will get their first choice)!

Just curious... will there be only one battle per turn?
I take it all of us will be playing Shimazu generals, and the 'Executor' or 'Daiymo' will make the strategic 'moves' and fight any battle lead by himself? So, if we are passing a save file around, how do you resolve, say, 3 attacks by Mori on 3 different Shimazu generals in 3 different provinces AND a Shimazu attack on an Imagawa province guarded by, say, 2 generals on the same turn? I didn't think you could pause between battles...
I'm sure your rules state how things will be simplified. I'm just asking you to share it once more or tell me where I can find it (since I obviously missed it! http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/tongue.gif )
Lastly, I'd say give folks at least a full 24 hours to 'play the save game' and ship it back. 48 hours would be better for those of us that are impeded by such petty things as work or academia...

However, since we've said at the beginning the sign up is first come first serve, the positions will be given to the first person who volunteers.
The other candidates can still share part of the daimyo, executor, and publisher's job, with their rights to reserve a general. The executor should be the busiest so Tera might want to apply for a mighty reserve. http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif

Vanya most of your questions are answered in the draft rule. btw, we will leave 24 hours to every battle. 48 hours seems to be too long to finish this campaign. Special request are accepted, of course.

No problem, Vanya. How about we put you in the first position of the free generals line-up. This way you will play the first battle that is commanded by an Honor 0 general (if this battle does not conflict with another), and you will be playing this particular general afterwards. If you get bored then you can still jump out of the line up and adopt a famous general if available. http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/biggrin.gif

Here is the current reservation list (please make any change as soon as possible http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/tongue.gif). Basically all people here will be doing slightly more things than the general members. As a result, they are granted the chance of reserving a general.
