I have been making a new big flash animation for my first page.
There are some problems like, there isn't a preloader(anyone can help with that)! and the first time the animation is slow. When you replay the animation though it plays fine so does when you reload the page http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif
Here it is http://lod.fateback.com

Nice flash intro http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif

What flashactionscript do you have on the preloader? If the load is not to big it will just skip the preloader. But yours seems big enough to use. Preloaders pose lots of problems for most people. Maybe if you can send your .fla file to me i can see it and try to fix, otherwise write out the actionscript...

I use swish 2. I make a new scene named preloader and make it first. I put a command in frame 0 that tells the preloader "if frame loaded" l put the last frame of the last scene go to frame 0, scene 1. I can't get it working in the I.E(testing) cause it loads quickly and also it doesn't seem to work. It should though the logic of my preloader is easy. Is very basic and it should be up for the job. I might be missing something.

ok lets see here...
in the first scene (preloader) first frame you put
ifframeloaded (last scene, last frame)
gotoandplay (whichever scene, first frame)

then in the last frame of the preloader you gotta put a loop like
gotoandplay (preloaderscene, firstframe)

do you have all that ??

Will start workign on it. I was thinking of making a more complex preloader or even download the source file put what the heck!
Thanks mate.
