I was one of the first to hear of an honourable act by the two Yagyu members in group 3 of Monsta's tourney (will post their names when i get around to it).

When EuroSp00n dropped from the game they did not go double team EuroSan but instead Sp00n's opponent continued to attack Sp00n, as if he was still there, ensuring a fair outcome to the battle.

I'm sure peeps have seen such honourable acts in many friendly games, but in my experience of shogun tournaments, when so much is on the line (way more so than any comp. game) such an act is extremely rare as some players put winning above all else.

I just thought this honourable act should be made known.

I have also witnessed acts of honour on behalf of the Yagyu Clan.

Many moons ago, when they were just starting out as a Clan and were hungry for new members (thru no fault of their own) they ended-up with a wayward applicant who was not a playing etirely fairly. Once they discovered this they went to great effort to track down all of the opponents that this individual had played and whenever possible made a formal apology to each player who had been wronged.

Yagyu members should certainly hold their heads high.

In a perfect world this type of action would happen more often and tourneys would be organized more....for some reason people find it hard to even read a forum and find who they are playing.... hopefully more of this type of honourable play will be seen when we reach the second round (which will be played sooner with a but of help from everybody concerned....Monsta is past the point of acceptance of lazy attitudes...if people dont pull their fringer out they will get the boot).

Yagyu were always struggling to survive and worked very hard to establish themselves as a clan...glory to them!

Jubei has always been very honorable, and surely trains/requires his clanm8 to be so too. I'm not surprised at all.

Glory and Honor to the Yagyu.

One of my favorite quotes is "Honor is a delacy few can make for themselves." But then again my all time favorite quote is, "Why fight Fair when you can win???"

------------------
He who fight alone on two front is a fool, he who fight on two fronts with an ally trusts too much. He who fight on two fronts with a brother by his side is a great man indeed.

Morayin I think the idea is that fair play is the key to this game in MP. Quoting from the end of STW

"honour was everything to samurai"

So to say that winning comes before fairness and honour is slightly demeaning of what this thread is all about.

Honorable Warriors.........
I must say thank you to all who have posted here about the honor of the Yagyu Clan.
I also must thank the warriors from our small fife for their adherance to the WAY.
Indeed in a perfect world more people would act in a similar fashion, more people would choose death over dishonor.
RageMonstasan- I thank you for your hard work in this tourney. For making the efforts to revitalize the community and for making the opportunity avaliable for my warriors to prove that the Yagyu Clan stands for Honor above all else!
