Unit sneakpeaks:

Saracen Archers

Faction(s):
Turkoman Empire, Egypt, Sicily

Unlike most european archers the saracen archers are well equiped and armoured. This makes them capable of holding their own in a melee fight, although they will not stand much of a chance against soldiers trained to fight in close combat.

Saracen Infantry

Faction(s):
Turkoman Empire, Egypt, Sicily

The spear and sword armed saracen infantry provides the mid-eastern nations of a reliable infantry units, capable of dealing with the heavier armoured but slower european infantry.

Boyars

Faction(s):
Principality of Kiev, Novgorod

The russian boyar cavalry are made of well armoured noblemen, making decent heavy shock cavalry. Regardless of their good equipment they lack the true fighting skills of european knights.

Faction preview:

France

France is reknown for their excellent - though impetious - mounted knights. They can also rely on good amounts of norman and native infantry.
Their most important adversary are the english, with whom war seems unavoidable. Maybe even one that lasts a hundred years.

This really looks awesome. I am impressed by those graphics.

But will the mod be a mainly graphical conversion, or are you also trying to address issues like balance, kill and run speed and other issues that are there with the current RTW version ?

everything is completly revised to get a gameplay experience closer to that of MTW (MP). We've completely redone the unit stats 4 times which should prove the commitment of reahing a (near) perfect unit balance.
