Yes.

The Dacians had a powerfull network of fortifications in the Orastie Mts . Their walls ware made of stone and covered key defensive positions along mountain passes. Trajan needed thus to encircle Sarmisegetuza Regia and charge from the North.By the way, Porolissum was built after 120 A.D and thus wasn't the Dacian Capital during RTW period.Dacian nobles had close ties with the Roman factions and Burebista even sent troops in the First Roman Civil War to assist Pompei. So presoumig that Pompei is represented by the Brutii in-game wouldn't be possible for Dacians and Brutii to be allies at the start of the game yet hostile with the Julii and the S.P.Q.R factions?Dacia should start with a mountain capital->enlarge the map a bit and insert a small village close to the gold mine by following the steps shown in the forum (can't remember where) and set it a a rally point for troops. Provide two forts inside the narrow south gorge and overlay a a watch tower wor each.Simply match their coordonates and watch the result.Hopefully they would look like an early Dacian citadel.Stone walls should be avaleble as soon as your Dacian General recieves a Roman Turncoat as Decebalus protected roman fugitives. They aided himto construct siege weapons and get better trained units. Also, a Roman Embassy should offer acces to Balistas, handled by a druid-like crew and allow the usage of 'legionary militia' units(brown druids with numidian shields and a longswords).

Why does a brave man fall?
Struck by a defient blade,
He turns into a horrid shade
Fearing the Light
He prays for the night.

The number of Romanians on our team is only surpassed by the number of Portuguese ;) Rest assured, Dacia will be portrayed well...

First, no matter what solution we choose for Rome, it will not be based on patrician families, so the Brutii stuff is right out.

Second, remember that currently we have no plans to change the end date of 14 AD, so much of what you're talking about is out of period.

Will Europa Barbaroum be compatible with De Bello Dacico :dizzy2: .Will The Brutii be replaced with the Pompei faction. After all, Brutus faught alongside Pompei in the Roman Civil War and the Triumvirae gave Pompei power over The Eastern part of the Roman World including Greece.Crassus should replace the Scipii and have less favour in he Senate.Patrician fammilies should pay tribute to he SPQR faction right from the start of he campaign

We'll not have Patrician Families. Also: We cant base the setup for twohundredsomething bc. on the political situation of 50 bc.

EB will be a complete conversion, and thus not compatible with any other mods.

Proposed roman factions:-SPQR( the most advanced and Lictor's early in the game)
-Marius(trains legions, has a bad position to the North)
-Sulla( trains gladiators and hastati early on,covers the south)
-Gracchii(trains Town Watch, gladiators and some primitive legions, center)
SPQR must have lictors for hire, as they ware used to ensure the protecion of the Consul and thus acted as private bodyguards.Could you create a Town Watch without a shield and spear, equiping him with only a double-edge axe.
