I would really love to play on the Tosa server, but for some reason beyond my knowledge (not much needed to reach that point ~D ) I can't loggin.

Single player works fine, but I get stuck in the "logging on..." forever ~:confused:

I tried all I could think off :book:

I've a sort of new pc, a Sony VAIO RZ504, P4 3.4 MHz HT, 1024 MB DDR SDRAM, Radeon 9600XT 128 MB VRAM (new ATI Catalyst drivers).

WinXP Home with SP2, Norton Antivirus and Systemworks 2005.

Norton Wormprotection normally enabled (XP firewall disabled)...I tried it also with all disabled.

I have the right Internet config (double checked)

The honourable Togakure :bow: tried to help me, but still no go. When I try to loggin he can see me (blank name, honour 0), but I never get beyond the loggin in screen.

Old Kassie would love to fight again :charge:

Hello Kas,

You've played on fakeserver before, haven't you? It's an odd thing, some can and others can't join. Did your connection type change? Oh, first suspect is Hyper Threading. My copy didn't like that. Try turning it off in your bios.

Yes it's weird....I once managed to get on the server (took me some effort) played a couple of nice battles and never managed to get back in again...nothing changed on the pc, so I'm baffled and frustrated.

That was some time ago right? Several months, a year maybe? Nothing changed on your PC... you'ld think there's something that has to be done at the server level. When do you have time to test some changes?

You often need to try connect to ea play A number of times,

But latley i get
Cannot connect,
When i try to play on tosa server,
and it hangs at login screen for ages,
Ive set up my own server if you are desprate for a game,

Last i saw were 2 ppl in there 3 with me


Heres a quick tip.

When you see it says Loging on,

click on the curled up corner of the page that says loging on.
Then click Play on ea play again,

Do this a few times
and eventualy 2-8 tries usualy
it will say Loged on
Usaly prety Instantly,

This seems to happen with all fake servers,
so just stop the login process if it dosent conect in a second or 2
and try again,
(should work)

Oh yeah,
if you have a softweare fire wall Prehaps thats the problem.
If you use kerio You can easily fix that,
probably same for other fire walls,

If you cionect to internet through Network Router, That could be a problem,

But really
id just stop logon process and try again till it logs on Straight away.

This implies that You just need to try again,
So again, Just stop login process if it dosent connect almost instantly,
and then quickley click on play on ea play.

tick use existing internet conection as well,

Kas, I have just logged on to Tosa Server.
One other member there (afk) name of Burr Ito

So it is possible to connect, keep trying m8 and good luck.

Edit: and logged again first time at 1510hrs....(testing)
