Before we can decide of how to develop this mod we have two thigs to sort out.
1/ We need to decide on a name for the mod
2/ We need to decide on the time period
The time period will dictate what units should be researched/ skinned. It would be silly to have spent laods of time creating units with chain mail, if we decide that the time period has already made it obsolete.
So this is my two pence worth.
1/ NAME OF THE MOD
I have no learning either way on this, I dont really care what we call it, But I think we need to decide on something.
I dont think we should refer to the 100 years war in the title, as the mod is far wider than this limited time period. I prefer something like Two Throwns. I dont think we should use Two Crowns as people might get this one confused with my earlier mods.
2/ TIME PERIOD
I believe the time period should be 1328 - 1485
I have chosen 1328 as its the date the last French Capetin king died and the Valios dynasty is established. The end date is when the war of the roses came to completion.
This time period will gives us plenty of opportunity to maximise the use of the other factions.
What do you all think. Please respond. Once we have settled these two points we can go on deciding units, town/city plans, creating a web site etc....
