help with the auto download

hey im new to this site so im sorry if this is the wrong place to ask questions

ok i wanted to play online with my friend so i entered my cd code and tried to connect and it said it needed an auto download at totalwar.com but there is no site named that where can i get this ?

Must mean you need the patch? www.totalwar.com and then find the Rome patch under "downloads"
