Can you do multiplayer involving both humans & AIs?

Is it possible to set up say a 2v2 battle between 2 human players and 2 AIs? (I don't play StarCraft, but I know you can do that in StarCraft) I have tried doing this in Multiplayer:LAN Game, but with no success. I have tried searching for this topic at the totalwar.com forum, but no luck either. Any ideas?

The other day I carried my PC to a friend's place to play against each other. We wanted to play as allies (against 2 AIs) once in a while so that we won't hate each other for kicking each other's butts. http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif

No, you can't which is a shame as my son and I enjoy playing Star Craft and Tib Sun as allies against the AI.

I think this plus and editor are definitely required in a future patch.
