I've just released my first mod onto Rome Total War Heaven. It's called RTW King's Realism Mod, and it's aim is to make unit stats and attributes more realistic, without altering game files too much. You can download this mod from the below link:

These are the main changes I made:

- Unit upkeep costs have for most units been reduced, but mercenaries are more expensive
- 'Elite' Units are generally more expensive to avoid whole armies of nobles and veterans
- Siege equipment have extremely low upkeep costs
- Generals Bodyguard have no upkeep costs
- Cavalry take at least 2 turns to train
- Cavalry are generally slightly poorer
- Cavalry have significantly improved charge bonus
- Generals Bodyguard sizes increased to that of standard cavalry units
- Chariots are tougher and have significantly more attack
- Elephants have less armour but much more attack
- Javelineers generally have less ammo but do a lot more damage
- Armour values have been made more realistic
- Barbarians have improved morale and attack, but usually no armour
- Hastati and Principes can form Testudo
- Night Raiders can now hide anywhere
- Head Hurlers now throw heads then charge

Anyway, this post is not an advertisement. I wanted peoples opinions on the changes, and any suggestions for Version 2, which I am currently working on.
I've already put most barbarians apart from nobles and chosen units into horde formations.
