Well, he was a learner of Aksemseddin.. I was trying to remember his name for the last hafl an hour.. After some search I got it. Aksemseddin (you may find it as "Akshemseddin" for English, I'm not sure) is almost the most influential portraits in Mehmed The Conqueror.

Hope this helps..

By the way, Yakoub Pasha was a converted Jewish. He was offered a fortune to poison Mehmed the Conqueror and he did. He was then dashed into pieces by the soldiers.

The other noticable men around Mehmed The Conqueror were Mahmud Pasha, Rum Mehmed Pasha, Ghedik Ahmed Pasha, Balaban Beg and Bali Beg. I converted the names to English myself in the best possible phonetic sounds to me. So you may get errors if you directly search these men with the names I give. You may try changing the letters a bit..

If you ask about the Amir of Karaman before the capture of that land by Ottomans, by the time Mehmed The Conqueror was the Padishah, it was Ibrahim Beg of Karamans. After his death, his sons Ishak Beg and Pir Ahmed battled to be the Beg of Karaman. After several years of multi-sided conflicts by the side or versus Ottomans, for the last time Pir Ahmed and Qasim Beg fought against Shehzadeh Mustapha who was assigned to Amir of Karaman by Mehmed the Conqueror. The loyal Karaman folk were influential, as well, about the enlengthened duration this battle. When they were totally defeated, Qasim Beg, the last heir of Karamans, had some kind of power until his death staying loyal to new Karaman Amir of Ottomans - Shehzade Cem Sultan.

Hope this helps as well..

I, for God's Sake, know that it is "Bey", it's ridiculous that you trying to remind me of the pronounciation of Ottoman ranks. It is the foreigners that call it "Beg", not me; so I decided to do it in your own language.

BTW, "Han" not "Khan"..Ok ?

I am glad you made use of them..
