Web site for MOD\'s ?

We seem to have a lot of battle mods created now for the demo.

Is it the intention of the owners/ The org to host these mods.

I appreciate that Baracca has his own web site, and that I will host my own and any that OOOO develop.

But what will happen with the rest. We are only a few days away from the game release, so alot more will be appearing very soon.

It seem quite a pity if we are going to loose all of the first mod's that were developed ?

The org is hosting any mods. The 'sorted' page is far from complete, thanks to Barocca there's at least a compilation. There's also a folder that allows direct up- and download (not virus checked, so you should do this yourself).

All MTW mods will remain at the org. The sorted page will be tidied up. It would be a good thing if anyone who made a mod for MTW uploads it here (backups of the files are also made). http://www.totalwar.org/MTWFiles/

As a matter of fact: all STW demo mods are collected on a CD as well. I decided not to put them into the newly made filesection (the mods were never there) as it could be confusing: the full game was shipped and the mods (as they were) are not compatible with the full game.

My humble guess is, that any MTW demo mod that replaced the Historical Jaffa battle will work without modification. Renaming them would even allow multiple mods in the historical battle folder at the same time.

In summary: the demo mods will remain in the demo section after release of MTW. Mods modified to work with MTW as well (this should be easy as it's basically the same stuff) will be put in a MTW Historical Battles folder.
