1. campaign map seems to "white out" in some sections, like it isn't being frendered properly. Minor and doesn't really affect gameplay, but could be fixed.
2. the AI's useof agents, especially emissaries seems a bit...over-enthusiastic. Sort of like the way the Hojo would just keep building Ashi in the old STW; my campaign maps are choked with AI emissaries that are created and then just sit around not moving. Assassination doesn't help.

now you posted this here just to annoy me...
i can tell

now campaign map white out occurs when yor graphics card gets overloaded,
used to happen to me in shoggy, when i was trying ro run it on a 4Meg card,

Emissaries, you have to keep killing them,
the AI must be forced to defend from the dark forces or it will simply overwhelm you with spies, emissaries and the like.
Emissaries tend to suffer from a high rate of attrition, probably why the AI builds so many.
Force the AI to replace them, and you tie up training facilities!

Bar, spoken like a guy who doesn't have the game yet http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/biggrin.gif
But seriously, the medeieval assassins aren't exactly ninjas, so taking out enemy agents by training assassins is like throwing your money away.

Also, one more problem I've had: sometimes my units get stuck on the edge when withdrawing, wich of course means I can't replace that unit with reinforcements. Anybody else?

soly,
i've had the 'stuck' units stuck against impassable zones. luckily at the time it wasnt a reinforcement game, but it does seem like the ai still doesnt handle this well. my units were routing, so there was no way to gain control of them and re-direct them. friad this is going to happen from time to time unless a patch can fix it.

and i believe bar is right about the 'white out'. more ram, better card, or maybe just a driver update would help. not sure.

with the stuck units,

in the demo i've not yet seen a unit completely stuck against a terrain feature, against a model yes, but not terrain,

what i have seen however...

the unit recognises all area of the map as valid terrain, if a routing unit decides to change direction in the red zone, they will, they won't run back onto the field...just run around in the red zone...

grrrrr...

I have seen them run around 3 edges of the map, safely in the red zone, before some peasant yells - hey look a pub... and finally leaving the field

and serves you right for getting the game so early
