How do u create still water like the Editors did in the levels with Bridges? (M:TW)

not sure. i noticed that too in the editor. all of the water rises and falls. makes it difficult to edit inland water. i havent played around with the editor much yet, but i'm hoping that lapping effect only exists IN the editor and that when you move the map to play it that it goes away, but dont know yet.

i'm afraid that 'water' is still one of the places where the game falls down in points in my book. it could be so much more and so much better.

Still fluxuates when you play the MAP! So very annoying! I am trying to create a "moat" effect for a MP map. Where you have to cross one of three bridges to assault the inner castle. Could be lots of fun. I have all the terrain laid down, mountains trees exotic castle, eevrything except the gosh darn annoying water.

It could be ALOT better, I think Lightly armoured units should be able to dig it up, so ( a la Lords of the Realm 2) you could move across the moat.

They also need drawbridges, siege towers and ladders in this game!

Nah ladders and seige towers would ruin the game I think.

It's about fighting big battles yes but its not all about castle seiges.

And then like Mock Trojan Horses too! Slip some goonies inside the castle, open the gate, place some demo chargs here and there... er... gunpowder and blow the castle up!

That would be fun!

Siege Towers could have the ability to tip, (causing the life of the units inside of course) and fall on any foe below!

hehehe.
