Hello all.

Im well away of the time and effort TW.org has put in to the MTW and Shogun communities because several users have told me and pointed me to this site.

I am a guy that likes to work, test and provide docs so others can enjoy what doing what I like to do. EG expand a great game like MTW.

However right now the options are a little limiting. Some heres what can expect now and then a list of what you can expect later if all the tools/changes we need are made available.

Coming soon to TW.org and my site.

Will be a new single player campaign users are voting on. The campaign will be designed to meet the fans requirements. I have a poll running to gather that information. I like gathering info like that because it helps me make products people actually want.

Also I have plans for a Single player campaign tutorial. I am currently considering the format (layout) it will take. I will be html based so it can be hosted on a site directly or downloaded. Beyond that I have those very long configure lines to deal with and that requires some thought. I may simply list each are down the page instead of across the page. Expect a nice colourful tables and an easy to read doc by the end of it.

Assuming all goes well and truely custom campaigns are possible after the next patch you can expect the above tutorial to be expended into something much bigger. It will become chapter 1 of a multi chapter doc.

I did something similar for the Mechwarrior 4 community and its proven to be a very popular reference doc. Something even I use when I need to look up stuff on occasion. Which is what I hope it will turn into. A reference doc for new and established mod makers.

To do this though I will need you help, ideas and submissions. It will then grow to become something really worth having.

The final product will be uploaded to TW.org for them to host as an online doc, as a downloadable file or both. You wont need to visite my site to access it. I'll get my hits via from the odd mention within the doc http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif

This is what I want to create for MTW fans and mod makers. Its my old mw4 tutorial, it should give you some ideas of what to expect.

BTW, thanks for the link TW.org http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif
Im still waiting to see just how deeply we can dig into MTW for our mods after the first patch is released, before deciding what level of support I can give it on my own site.
