I made a cannon model and ive been exploring all the different seige engine capabilities. So i finally managed to get the cannon in game and to celebrate i held a massive 20 vs 20 cannon duel. Imagine to lines of 40 cannons each lobbing cannonballs at eachother from long range. Each side raining death on the other. Braving life and limb to load that next cannonball.

But yeah. You get the idea.

Now for the screenies!

The Julii lost. You can see their flags of surrender off in the distance.

The brutii won. Although not without their fair share of casualities.

Anyway. Theres still more tweaking to be done so i cant give you the files for dload yet. But keep watching over the next day or two.

Nice work Shifty157! I look forward to seeing them in the mod! By the by, these were based on a concept for the Age of Mankind: Total War by BishopSix ~:) !

Yes. These cannons will undergo a pretty paint job and perhaps some other changes and be in the Age of Mankind: Total War.

As well i will release my own version with the current skin (with improvements) for dload. This will come in time though as im still learning my way around seige engines.

This is awesome shifty! I'm wondering if you're interested in The Great War, a WWI mod where we could really use someone who can make artillery models?

What files did you edit to get the smoke and fire?

Wow, looks awesome shifty, you really could do some great models in the future too, the stuff ive seen so far from you has been great. BTW, i urge you to think about working with Comrade Alexeo on the Great War, he already has some great models but is having some trouble with them and you would get a chance to make awesome stuff.
