Not compatible game data

Ive tried re installing the game but still have this problem when I get into GS lobbys. I wonder is everyone using Barb Inv now? I'm patched up to 1.2 btw.

I would hardly call that Sarcasam.
Any way one question. Have you ever use a mod? NO it's not a stupid question if you have then I might be able to help you fix it. Other than that I can't really offer any more help sorry.

Indeed it's not. Any way the most likly problem will be a msing file or if you have instaled a mod then some of the mods files my still be there. Thats all I can think off.

The only thing I can think of is if you havn't got the patch installed, but you say you have so it can't be that.

It could be an issue with a previous mod as already has been suggested but other than that mate..... ~:confused:

No I dont have a mod installed. Although I did have preview of RTW when it came out but deleted this when I purchased games. Weird aint it?

Every game on multiplayer says the same. This means I can enter ANY games online.

You can't play any games with incompatible data. This is kinda like my problem... Maybe you could try in the Apothecary?

Well if it's says incompatible data on every game then it is exactly what I experienced when I forgot to install the 1.2 patch once, lol.

But if you definatly have the 1.2 patch then someone else will have to help I'm afraid.

I was trying to replicate the opening game movies to BI and RTW with huge armies as depicted on their box covers. I did the size mods, and tried battle scripting, but scripting does not give full control of camera like in the movies, nor does RTW / BI allow replay capture of scripted battles. So I concluded I need to do MP and control things manually to get a good replay capture.

But for both RTW and BI, I keep getting 'not compatible game data'.

I have both CPU's (very souped up 1 XP Pro Media Center, 1 Vista) patched up to 1.5 / 1.6. I don't have CTW yet. All Audio/Video/Game options on both CPU's are same. I tried removing the map.rtw in both RTW and BI as instructed in

Still S.O.L.

If you install BI after RTW, it seems to downgrade from 1.5 to 1.3.

There's a 1.6 patch downloadable to get the games back, I think to 1.5/1.6; hopefully then your game data will be compatible.

Ive got 1.5 and it still says the same. But i also see some codes in the screen.

How can i remove map.rtw? i have the same error 'incompatible game data'
