Oi

While I paused for a bit on the Europe Mod thing (I'm actually looking for a nice map to use as campaign texture, but can't find the "cut" I need) I'm trying now to create a Saint Angel castle (is the castle in Rome) map, but I'm missing how to add rivers to newly created maps.. where is it?

Thanx

Cannot help you there but in case you never read the part about rivers i will repeat what i heard already.

Rivers must run east to west and can only have 3 bridges max placed over them.

I personally have not made a map yet as i regard the editor as a rather feeble attempt at making a map editor but i do remember something about the above from the docs.

Best check it out if your thinking of using rivers.

Hi http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif,

Just lower the terrain to water level...just lwoer it until you see water I mean.

I dont think the things mentioned above anymore, water can be uncrossable without stretching the entire map, that's for sure...

You can also raise the water level. Just alt-leftclick on the height you want to be the new level.

On the subject of rivers, I caught a passing reference by Gil a while back about how STW modders somehow discovered a way to make rivers you could ford instead of needing a bridge, to the surprise of CA. Being new here, that happened before my time. So somebody please tell me how to do that http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif
