Hi all, I made a basic playable pope mod - which is available for download here...

I would have been good if you could have played the pope in the start. ie excommunicate ppl, ask for crusades etc maybe we will get it as an add-on like MI??

Other catholic factions automatically get excommunicated if you attack them...

This is my first (and very simple) mod - just lets you play pope, in the next version I aim to add more campaign elements and try to fix the heirs - the pope doesn't produce princes and princesses, he just automatically gets a new heir

thanks but it's quite flawed in some ways, if only I could work out a way of getting the pope to breed more efficiently...

I have updated Playable Pope - added Crete and Cyprus version is now 1.1
