Attn: Barocca - download area for Historical Campaigns

Hi Barocca,

Any chance of created a new download area for MTW for downloading Historical Campaigns - as opposed to strategic campaigns.

There is a download area for Custom Battles (pertaining to newly created 'Historical Battles) but no Custom Campaigns (for newly created 'Historical Campaigns').

(BTW - am I the only one creating a new Historical Campaign or are other other people doing the same ?)

may be the first to finish one.
My ones are going to have new
animations so u can wait a
good bit longer to see
anything from me.I can write
a campaigne in day or two
but not the animations.

Just for curiosity, LK, when you are creating a 'new' (presumably based on the existing ones) animation for a new type of unit are you literally re-drawing/re-touching BY HAND all 15-20 images in the appropiate BIF file, and all 12 frames also, and the amending all the run/walk/die etc: numbers associated with the new BIF images ?

If so, this strikes me as a collossal undertaking per unit, considering your talking 200+ images per unit - then working out the new numeric parameters for them. Do you have any specific software that aids you in this task, in any way ????

I would love to attempt this in order to incorporate my favourite units/troops into the game, but the sheer magnitude of such an attempt, the time it would take, and my lack of any artistic quality whatsoever just serves to deter me.

you can use PSP
and the like to copy and paste
but the actionspage we have to do that.
we have to draw alot too alot alot
and somemore.The best part is that
when they are finished,some smartarse
is going to tell me it's crap.
