I have to say you Europeans really stick with a game. I've noticed the difference in forum traffic on here, and during Euro hours it gets plenty of replies/posts compared to USA time. BTW, I'm way the hell out here on the U.S. west coast, so I'm even further behind than the rest of the country.
I noticed the US gamers pretty much dropped off this forum when Diablo 2 came out. Also, it's mostly European ass (and thier naive WW1-soldier's-honor tactics) that I've been kicking on MP.
Just to prevent this from being scratched as an OT thread, here's a STW tip: Your chances are better at winning the campaign as either Oda, Takeda, or Uesegi (sp?)
Well, it's a pretty opinionated tip, but there ya go....

Actually, I think more of an effect then Diablo 2 was those 3 weekends in a row when the STW server crashed. That was the last straw for many people, myself included. After that, the majority of people left. Some have come back, but Im sure that 3rd weekend many a hard drive had STW ripped off of it. I know my clan FEARFUL WAYS had almost half of it's members leave. A few of come back, the rest found greener pastures. But for me, I came back because of my love of American football. What does that have to do with STW u ask? They r very similar. the tactics r basically the same and other then having a ball and an endzone, they are basically the same. Football season started, I watched a few games, and since I dont have any football games, I decided to come back to STW and have been here every night since.

Wierd? Maybe. But it got me back, so...

It's actually pretty amazing to see how a thread complimenting the Europeans can quickly turn into a discussion of just how ugly is Elmark, Sang's lack of companionship and American Football.
