Thanvabara vs Eranshar Arshtbara

I think there's a unit balancing issue with these 2:

Eranshar Arshtbara is the superior archer (higher missile attack & defense), capable to double as light spearmen and has a combat bonus in wood and snow. Yet Thanvabara are more expensive in both initial recruitment (767 vs 618 Mnai) as well as upkeep (192 vs 155 Mnai). Comparing these units, I can't think of any reason to ever recruit Thanvabara. Perhaps the recruitment/upkeep costs could be swapped?

I've definitely noticed that too. Our stat guy is still away for a few days on holiday. Maybe he can reply when he returns.

Till then, just keep recruiting the Doryphoroi! (spear bearing versions)

Speaking of discrepencies with cost and upkeep values, it would seem that my faction's family members do indeed cost resources to maintain, even though their unit card has an upkeep of '0'. Is it that they're being paid a wage somehow, on purpose, or is this not supposed to happen?

Bodyguards cost nothing, but family members still get paid a wage of 200, as in vanilla.
