CTD's

hi, I have played a while as the Pahlav and everything went quite well for a while, there were no reoccuring CTD's for about 80 turns. Since 230 BC however I have CTD's at about 80% of all battles. The battle itself goes well and without any problems but when the battle is over and the campaign map is loading it crashes. Sometimes everything just stops and freezes and sometimes I hear a very hard 'beep' sound from my speakers and everything freezes. Does anyone know this problem and perhaps a solution?

hehe sorry, I didn't intend to complain, EB is great. I am not really a computer genius and just wondered if there happens to be some magical way to solve this problem.

I think it's when defending since that is about all I do. Btw when autoresolving the problems do not occur. Do you think it has anything to do with graphical configurations? I also think it has something to do with the Yueh-chih since most crashes occur during their turn.
