When you try to scroll down on the building screen in a settlement, it briefly flickers to a new selection then reverts to the original ones shown, which is rather annoying, as this means that I can't build any buildings or train any units apart from the first ones shown.

That's a vanilla problem. We can't do anything about it. Unfortunately we have even more building offerings than vanilla so it is more noticeable - but you can *always* make it work if you are patient with it. I've never been unable to select a building because of this problem.

2 options:

1 (The plenty of money option)
Select a temple to be built. That will clear out a few slots and move everything up to one of the top 2 rows. Select your building that you really want, then cancel the temple.

2. (The no-money option)
This one requires some patience and precise mousework.
You have to drag the widget all the way down the scrollbar, then keep dragging over to your building you want. Alternately, you can drag the scrollbar (you may have to click it a few times to get it to stay), and quickly move the mouse over a building. Once the tooltip description comes up, I think you're safe to choose a building. It's a pain, I know. :wall:

Option #3:

1) Click on the slider button as shown below:

2) Drag button down to the bottom of the slider and WITHOUT RELEASING, drag the cursor a little bit lower (anywhere in the small blue circle) - Now you can release the button, and voila - the buildings in the third row remain on the screen:
