hi guys,
this is a great mod you created here (though still somewat buggy ;) ).
well, the biggest obstacle for enjoying your mod ( ctds are sustainable... ^^ ) is, that one turn in the campaign map is about 4minutes (2 minutes alone at the eleutheroi.....). i know youre currently optimizing your scripts but cant i do anything to accelerate it a bit?

4 minutes wow i guess you have very week computer.

I dont think we will be able to reduce it much.
This is always this way with mods. More content you add to original game, slower it runs.

I guess upgrading your pc is in order.

If you know something about computers you could try few things:
1) Reinstall system. Windows tends to get old, longer you have it slower it runs.
2) Overcloock your CPU.
3) There are also some tips like increasing priority for RTW.

i cant imagine it beeing my pc, its an athlon dualcore 64bit 3800+, 1024 mb ram with a geforce 7800 gt ^^''
i dunno but there is only this prob with eb.... -.-
well, at the beginning of a ampaign there's not so big a prob with this, but the longer it goes, the longer are the turns. after about 100 turns it durated as said 4 mins...

but, how to increase the pririty?

With such a rig you shouldnt get 4 min turns.
Afther 50 years on my old Cpu (Athlon 1700+ overclocked to 1933 MHz) and 512 MB of Ram
i dont get 4 minute turns.
Something is seriously wrong with your system.
I would suggest reinstalling windows.

Start EB.
Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete Key combination.
New window will come up with list of procceses.
Choose Rtw.exe. Right click -> Set Priority ->Choose priority.

Unfortunetly this way you will have to do it every time you start RTW.
There was somewhere in this forum thread about command line that could do it automaticly. But i dont remember when i saw this.

I allso had this problem with slow turns, and i can fix it with restarting the game.

I remember RTR 5.0 allso had an issue like this, witch they managed to fix. Im not sure if this is coused by the same thing, but it sometimes seems like a prcesses loop or something like that.

In my games, most of these slowdowns start when i set "several turn walking path" to unit's on the stratmap.
