I know this might seem a bit of a strange question but how long has this mod been on the go? If possible could we have an approximate completion level and/or release date/month? Keep up the good work this mod looks awesome and im definately going to be getting it!!!:laugh4:

I don't want to give a percentage, its hard to say. Conceptually the game is done. Units are about 60% done. The UI, battle banners, faction icons, music are all done. The map is about 45-50% done (just a guess). Buildings only 25% done or so. Still shooting for end of March early april. But I wager that you'll be playing Crusades before the summer offically starts.

Thats fantastic news! I've been looking through all the RTW web sites and so many mods just dont seem to get finished! :no: When i read this one i thought it was to good to be true! :laugh4: Its good to see a great looking mod around that seems to have a dedicated team behind it and i wish you all the luck in the world for your March release! Perhaps you could use this discussion for an update page? Just to keep us all happy and our download fingers itchy ~D

Indeed. This mod does look truly excellent. The units are particularly amazing and the map looks very promising. I wish you all the best for your target release date ~:) .

Still planned for release "before summer"

the end of my semester which is also my final year at uni has thrown a kink in my spare time. Hopefully I can get back to regular work soon.

Alot is done as you can see from the latest previews. Somewhere in the neighbor hood of 75-80% complete now. We've run into a few snags with things and since there aren't exactly alot of BI total conversions we have been on our own alot.

i dont know where to ask..if it is released and ive installed alexander expansion do i need to uninstall it to play The Crusade?

Just a heads up. Today I coded the sprites for all the units. What does that mean? Well it means that I'm already playing custom battles with all the units and final stats and that the final release to the public will be sometime in the near future. And sometime before november.

on ur screenshots the map are on top right of the screen and the formation buttons n stuff are at the middle of the screen..how do u do that? i think many of u know how to do it already:embarassed:

its the minimal UI setting, look in preferences.txt in your RTW directory

Just as he said above me its in the preferences folder in the preferences.txt. When we put out the final copy of Crusades we will include a preferences.txt that uses this feature. THe battle UI was designed with it specifically in mind.
