make eb run quicker and more efficient

eb runs slow on my computer,not the gameplay itself which is fine, but the loading screens and such.i also want to be able to use huge units, what type of upgrades do i need to get?

Well the patch should fasten things to a certain amount I believe.
But if you're talking about hardware upgrades, a bit of extra RAM doesn't hurt.
