trouble with the pacth

i installed the pacth,but EB wont run, the EB title comes up then crashes.
how do i fix this because im watering at the mouth to play.

On a vanilla RTW build, install the RTW 1.2 patch, then the Open Beta for EB (0.7.2). Then install the patch 0.7.3a. Unless you have other modifactions, or another RTW build, or a faulty download, there is no reason it shouldn't run.

But to be safe, I'd go into your imperial_campaign folder and delete map.rwn just to be sure.
