I worked 3 days on erasing Bi vanilla units; with these text files you'll have only the essential units and so you can add all your new units without pass the units limit ( i think it's 200 or 250)

here the download link with the text files:

http://rapidshare.de/files/18719735/data.rar.html

copy it in you BI\data folder

hope it will be useful for all of them who want to start a new modification

cheers,

the Crusader TW staff and dragases1453

Good work :)
I'm modding for RTW files, but nevertheless ;)

To repeat the last reply, can someone please post a new link to these files? The old one doesn't work.

I did have them but the files didn't actually work for me when I tried them - EDIT: which was apparently entirely down to my error - see below.... I'll have a look later and see if I can find and figure out what problems where, unless anyone else has them?

OK think it was these - judging by the title:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=8PA45E71
see if they work.

That didn't change anything for the campaign so if you want to get that loading you'd need a clean descr_strat first, think they left the merc's in EDU, if you empty the descr_mercenaries file you should be able to lose most of those as well (except any left in the rebels file).

The files work fine. Thanks for the help

Actually, there's a problem or two, for anyone who is going to use these files.

Someone's already started a mod on them, so the roman general, roman lesser general and the roman standard reference to cas files which aren't there. However, if you're using -mod:mymod (as you should) then you can copy the correct ones into the descr_model_battle file.
