Zone Alarm firewall, which I constantly update. :book:
Zone Alarm. Although I've been hurting ever since I saw a guy on Slashdot refer to it as "the AOL of firewalls." That's a low blow, man.
My linksys. It's all the firewall I need. ~:thumb:

None. I hate the paranoia drama on the web. If you know where you are stepping, it will generally be fine.
Keeping Zone Alarm in your backpack wouldn't hurt though ~:)

Norton Sysmantec 2006
A Mac.
I dumped all that stuff on my pc. It was getting so annoying I found just taking the occasional bit of spyware less irritating.
It's like Norton, it's so bloody annoying, slowing and intrusive that it's worse than 95% of the viruses/spyware you could ever get. AND you pay for it.
It prevented viruses (factory settings) on my girlfriend's laptop by simply not allowing any net access or program alterations. It's like burning down your own city to prevent it falling into the hands of the enemy (during a civil war).

Absolute nonsense. Having a firewall and antivirus/antispyware is not intrusive to the point of frustration. You don't have to use norton, there are better choices available.

There are free alternatives to Norton that many feel are superior. I'd recommend ZoneAlarm ( http://www.zonelabs.com/store/content/company/products/znalm/freeDownload.jsp?dc=12bms&ctry=US&lang=en )
AdAware SE Personal ( http://www.lavasoft.de/support/download/ ) and
SpyBot - Search & Destroy ( http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html ).
Keep them updated, and they'll take care of almost all your security needs (other than AV).
Something on my router (?!) and Zone Alarm.
Just in case I also have ad aware, spybot and avg, for clean up :D
