View Full Version : Free registry cleaner?
Anybody know a free registry cleaner? I'm having trouble finding one as most give you a free scan but don't do anything unless you pay. It's weird because there are excellent free anti viruses, and ad ware /spy ware etc, so surely theres a decent registry cleaner?

Here are two free registry cleaners that I was able to find -keep in mind that I have no experience with them.
RegScrub XP (http://www.lexundesigns.com/LexunFreeware/Apps/RegScrubXP-Install.zip)
RegSeeker (http://www.hoverdesk.net/dl/en/RegSeeker.zip)
Please let the program to create backups before making any registry cleanings. As I said these are two that I found, not that I tried.
I accidentaly deleted a register file for MTW:VI, called CO7ft5Y. Hope it doesn`t cause any trouble. :sweatdrop:

Registry cleaning may create results similar to dismemberment trying to get rid of an ache. Be careful x 2!

CrapCleaner is pretty good for basic stuff. Will probably find a couple of gig to clear out too.
