Hi all,

If you have some good links of tutorials on how to use Access SQL, and SQL servers, would you be so kind as to post them here? I kinda need to learn to use all this stuff in 2 weeks and I have exams coming.... :help:

What is the focus of your studies? Do you just need to learn SQL syntax and usage, or an overall understanding of databases and their interfaces?

I need to learn to use Access SQL, and SQL for server purposes. So yeah, mostly syntax and a few good examples of data transfers and database linking would be great

It's not generic DB, but Sybase has a library of online manuals you can access.

This link goes to the ASE 15.0 product:
http://sybooks.sybase.com/nav/detail.do?docset=812

This one should be the Transact-SQL manual.
http://infocenter.sybase.com/help/index.jsp?topic=/com.sybase.help.ase_15.0.sqlug/html/sqlug/title.htm&toc=/com.sybase.help.ase_15.0/toc.xml

The basics should be correct, but there are a few features in Sybase that are not ANSI-standard. I think the manuals state when they are not ANSI compliant.

(No, I do not work for Sybase and am not pushing the product. We use it at work and I just took a week-long training class on this, so this webpage is fresh in my mind.)
