Yeah, we already know that for a looong time. ~D
The best modelling tool is Autodesk Maya, but that costs about 9000$. :balloon2:

For RTW modding, 3ds max is so far the only option.
There are lots of other modelling programs out there (Blender (http://www.blender3d.org) is free!) though, so you could at least learn the basics from them.

If you are a student than you can get a pretty hefty discount on high priced softwares...

The discount for 3DS Max will go as low as 600-700$. Very expensive anyhow. :dizzy2:

But you can get free trial versions. That can somehow, and I ofcourse have no idea how, become not trail versions anymore. :juggle2:

You mean buying a license! :idea2:
No the exact polar opposite of that. It's what most experienced modders say is the best way to get into it.

Gentlemen!
Even the hint of a smell of a rumour of the thought of a dream of piracy and it's...

Very well put :skull:
Me, I use Rhino for modelling (its kinda like Maya but cheaper) but its not RTW compatible (& I can't do people anyway :juggle2: )
