Be a machine that will push 32k soldiers (this is the max in RTW custom battles) on 40+ frames?
Cause IIRC Lt1956 did some tests 2 years ago on RTW and it lagged as hell after 8k men even at FX57 beasts (of that time)...
I just pray that CA makes M2TW compartible with 64bit dual core technology...so it makes sense to buy the £800 FX62....

When it actually arrives, first thing I shall be doing is some big battles with my 2.4ghz conroe to see how far it can be pushed in RTW.

I think the engine will prevent it ever happening. Not designed to cope with it.

There will one day be hardware powerful enough to cope, easily. Compare modern machines with the original 1950s beasts.

I once managed to get the maximum amount of soldiers running on my PC. Ran so slow that it was worrying.
