Hi! I didn´t find a thread about this so I have to ask you one question.
Is it just me that can hear enemy horses while deploying the units? If i move along the borders in my given deploying space I can build me a picture of where and what I have coming. I am really shure about this. Because when the battle begins, enemy horses will start just from that point. :charge:

Well, at least you're not hearing voices. :dunce:

I can't say that I've noticed that. Are you sure it's not your own Cavalry?
You know that you can hear them when you move the camera above them?

I know that in MTW you can hear enemy units in the deployment phase, so most likely STW is the same.

R'as- It is worse, it is like horses n' stuff. :nurse:

And yes it is not my own troops making all the noise. Because it is there even if i don´t have any cavalry of my own. Pretty strange if the team have missed this thing, that I would call a bug, even in MTW.

I think it's intentional. Atleast it makes deployment phase more interesting.

I remember that when I was playing STW MP I found bug into game.
I deployed musketeers close to my border and usher deployed his cav close to his border. I was suprised when my musketeers started firing his cav ....during deployment :)

Theres a few 'custom maps' that have the bug in them whereby the set up points for each opponent actually overlap! Theres one castle map in particular that I used to have fun with. Id take 3 or 4 high honour monk units and set up in the area I knew my opponent would be.During his set up period, his army would be fighting and dying to a seemingly ghost army! I hasten to add that this was only done as a prank on some of my freinds within the community.

its tru u can hear horses if they are set up at the end of there boundary and close to yours, so if you are defence, at least you know to set your army up back.

but you could always surprise your foe if u had selected lots of spear like in mtw/vi :):charge:
